Write for us
We welcome pitches from writers who can make a garden question easier to understand without sanding off its interesting edges. Send proposals through the Contact page, with a subject line or message that identifies the pitch.
What we are looking for
Pitch evergreen pieces about planning, plants, soil, garden care or seasonal change. Strong ideas have a clear reader question, a distinct angle and a useful centre: perhaps explaining why a planting choice behaves as it does, comparing two approaches, or helping readers notice a garden in a new way.
Make the pitch specific
Tell us the working title, the main point, who the piece is for and what readers should understand or be able to consider afterward. Include a brief outline and any relevant experience or sources. We prefer grounded writing that is open about limits and avoids claims that one method suits every garden.
Sending a proposal
Use the Contact page to send your pitch; it is the route for proposals and editorial questions. Please do not send a complete article unless it has been requested. We cannot promise publication or a response by a particular date.
