Lasting Garden Guide aims to make garden information clear, careful and useful. We distinguish general guidance from conditions that vary between gardens, and we welcome corrections when a detail needs another look.

Accuracy and clarity

We check the wording, scope and internal consistency of our material before publication. Where an idea depends on local climate, soil or site conditions, we say so rather than presenting it as a universal answer. Articles are for general information, not a substitute for specialist assessment where one is needed.

Independence and partnerships

Editorial decisions are made separately from commercial partnerships. Any sponsored article, paid placement or other partner material is clearly identified as such. A partnership does not guarantee favourable coverage, and we do not present paid material as independent editorial work.

Corrections and illustrations

If we find a significant error, we correct the article and make the change clear when it affects a reader's understanding. Readers can send correction requests through the Contact page.
